  • Can I book a viewing of the venue?

    Of course! We’d love to show you around. Simply click here for our availability and to book. Please note, viewings are to be made by appointment only.

  • What are your prices?

    All of our pricing and packaging information, including details on our ‘tailor made’ packages, is available in our brochure. Please fill out the form on our Weddings page to request one.

  • Can we use our own caterers?

    With over 15 years’ experience in the wedding industry, we know our stuff when it comes to good catering, so we only use the best of the best in-house chefs to cook your wedding breakfast.

  • We've booked our venue! What next?

    The next important step is to book the registrar. This is a legal requirement, and isn’t something we can do on your behalf. Please contact Ripley Registry Office direct on 01629 532609 to book your wedding date and to arrange giving notice of marriage. Once you have secured your ceremony time, please email your wedding coordinator to inform them.

  • Is there parking on-site?

    Yes! We have ample parking in our main car park, as well as an overflow car park for larger numbers. Vehicles can be left overnight, but will need to be off-site by 11am the following morning.

  • Do you have accommodation on-site?

    Yes, the Kedleston Country House has 5 boutique bedrooms which all sleep two guests*. A Continental Breakfast is included with your stay as well as robes, slippers and toiletries. Please speak to your wedding co-ordinator for more details.

    *The Scarsdale is a Family Room sleeping 2 Adults and 2 Children

  • What sort of music can we have, and until what time?

    A disco or a live band is permitted. We have an in-house DJ that you are very welcome to use for an additional fee however, you are welcome to use your own preferred choice. Should this be the case, we must receive a copy of their Public Liability Insurance and PAT test certificates at least one week before your wedding date. Music finishes at 11.30pm.

  • Can we have candles?

    Candles are permitted as long as all flames are covered and are in a lantern or a votive higher than the flame. We do not allow tall taper candles nor candles on the stair case.

  • Can we throw confetti?

    Yes with pleasure! However, please only use real flower petals or biodegradable confetti.
